Giant wheel kills one, another serious in Bhimavaram

 Bhimavaram: A youth was killed on the spot and another sustained serious injuries when they accidentally fell down from a giant wheel arranged as part of ongoing ‘Bhimavaram Utsav’ exhibition here on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Anand Paul. The injured, Satyanarayana was shifted to hospital.

According to the police, two youths, working as part-time staff at the exhibition, took the giant wheel ride for fun which proved costly. 

The onlookers were panicked by the incident. The police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to government hospital for post-mortem.

They registered a case and are investigating.
