TTD makes arrangements for Bhookarshanam ritual

Amaravati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set to perform the ceremonial Bhookarshanam and Beejavapanam ritual on January 31 for the construction of Srivari temple in the spacious land located in the capital city Amaravati.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will take part in this religious fete in the auspicious Meena Lagnam between 9.15 am and 9.40 am on Thursday. TTD JEO (Tirupati) P Bhaskar reviewed the ongoing arrangements for the prestigious fete on Tuesday evening with all the officials including security, distribution of Anna Prasadam, operation of free bus  services to transport local devotees to the venue, water and utilising the services of Srivari Sevakulu etc.in detail.

The TTD has made elaborate arrangements of Anna Prasadam at the venue where the ritual is being conducted as a preparatory ceremony before laying of the foundation stone for the construction of Sri Venkateswara Divyakshetram (temple complex) in the capital city region. As many as 20 counters have been set up to distribute Anna Prasadam to devotees.

Free buses have been arranged to transport local devotees to the venue located in Venkatapalem of Thullur mandal in Guntur district from various points. 

From Vijayawada 7 buses, Undavalli and Mangalagiri 5 buses each and from Thullur 3 buses will be operated to transport devotees participating in the ceremony. Meanwhile, Chaturveda Parayanam was rendered on Tuesday by Vedic Pundits followed by other Vedic rituals ahead of Bookarshanam.
