Yanamala Ramakrishnudu releases Krishna district Vision Plan

Amaravati: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Monday released the Krishna district Vision Plan for 2019-24 in the Secretariat at Velagapudi in Amaravati.

Krishna District Collector B Lakshmikantam informed the Finance minister that Krishna district stood first in the State in Gross District Domestic Product (GDDP) with per capita income of Rs 1,89,121. Last year also, the district stood first in the State with per capita income of Rs 97,089, he said.

The collector also informed the Finance Minister that the per capita income of the district would touch Rs 4,73,307 by 2023-24 by achieving the GDDP of Rs 2,55,064. The collector, submitting the details of revenue in the district to the district in-charge minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, stated that the district was forefront in aquaculture and milk production.

The district successfully overcome the malnutrition and anemia, he said. Referring to the identified growth engines in the district, he said that agriculture, aquaculture, manufacturing and service sectors were the real growth engines in the district.

Minister for Water Resources Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, ZP Chairperson Gadde Anuradha also participated in the release function of district Vision Plan. The Finance Minister also released the posters for Kondapalli Festival, which will  be held from February 3 and 4, and Pelican Bird Festival on February 10 in this connection.
