Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Kabaddi Association secretary Veerlankaiah alleged that Kabaddi players who had gone to Goa believing in former Krishna district Kabaddi Association secretary Srikanth were facing many problems.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Veeralankaiah said that the players were sent back by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) on the pretext that only the Kabaddi Association under the leadership of KE Prabhakar and Veeralankaiah was recognised.

He said that an order of the same was given by AKFI administrator SP Garg which was also posted in the website.

Veeralankaiah further alleged that Srikanth was spoling the life and future of the Kabaddi players.

He appealed to all the Kabaddi players to follow the recognised association and informed that AKFI elections would be held on February 15.

Distict Kabaddi Association general secretary S Yonamraju, Ranga Rao, S Rambabu and others were present.
