Rajamahendravaram: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) women’s wing State president and Nagari MLA R K Roja appealed to women to dethrone Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the forthcoming Assembly elections.

Addressing the women at Mahila Swaram meeting held at Diwanchervu on the outskirts of the city here on Tuesday night, she described Chandrababu Naidu as an outdated politician and said outdated material is very dangerous to the society.

Naidu was encouraging sales of liquor which was detrimental to protecting the interests of women in the State, she said. The Chief Minister does not know the value of Pasuma Kumkuma and trying to cheat women again with this slogan as the Assembly elections are fast approaching, she alleged.

Farmers, women, students, unemployed youth and all sectors in the State suffered during the last four-and-half years, he said. Roja further said that the Chief Minister was copying all the schemes announced by YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy and declaring them as sops to woo the voters.

She called upon women to teach a fitting lesson to the Chief Minister in the ensuing elections. Party Central governing board member Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi, youth wing State president Jakkampudi Raja and others were present.
