Veturi Sundararama Murthy remembered at Tumallapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada

Vijayawada:  Floral tributes were paid to Veturi Sunderarama Murthy at his statue at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram here on the occasion of his birth anniversary on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishna District Writers Association general secretary GV Poornachand said that Sundara Rama Murthy hailed from Peddakallepalli of Krishna district. 

He said ‘Sundararama Murthy started his career as a poet, writer and a journalist. He worked as editor for Janavani.’

AP creativity and cultural commission CEO Vijay Bhaskar, Andhra Art Academy secretary Golla Narayana Rao and others were present.
