Gear up for PM’s visit: Kanna tells BJP cadres
Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party State president Kanna Lakshminarayana has called upon the party cadre to get ready for the visit of Prime Minster Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah scheduled on February 10 in Guntur.
He addressed the members of the Parliamentary constituency committees at the I V Palace Function hall here on Thursday. The Party core committee leaders MP V Muralidharan, Satishjee, Daggubati Purandeswari and others spoke on the occasion.
Lakshminarayana, addressing on the occasion, called upon the party cadre to gear up for the forthcoming visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah to the State. He said the top brass of the BJP would visit various parts of the state for the election campaign and hoped these visits will give big boost to the party functionaries.
Kanna said that the TDP Government is levelling false allegations against the BJP Government on allocation of grants to the State. He alleged that the Janmabhoomi committees are misusing the funds allocated by the Union government for the development of the State.
He asked the party workers to highlight as to how the TDP Government is misusing the grants sanctioned by the Union government. BJP leader Sunil Deodhar said the AP BJP has strong cadre and can work from the grass root level to strengthen the party. The leaders have released the wall poster for the Kamal cup Kabaddi tournament that will begin on February 7 in the state.
