HMs asked to motivate parents to join children in govt schools
Visakhapatnam: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Friday participated in the three coastal districts school head masters regional meet held at AU Convection Hall on the Beach Road.
Head masters from Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam were present. Speaking on the occasion, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the inauguration of Regional Joint Director (RJD) office at Madhurawada was one of the mile stone in the State.
He appreciated the contributions of head masters for school education and administration. He also stated that the State government every year allocating Rs 25,000 crore for the education sector.
He also assured that skillful and qualified teachers would be recruited to the schools through DSC so that the students would get quality education. He advised the head masters to bring good results for which would motivate the parents to join their children in government schools.
The Minister said that the government was trying to make all government schools digitalised by promoting digital and virtual classrooms. Construction of Compound Walls, toilets and extra classrooms would be done through the funds of convergence, he added.
