Japanese Iwate Prefectural varsity offers internship to 2 MITS students
Madanapalle (Chittoor): Two final year students of B Tech—Computer Science & Engineering—from Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) were selected for internship at the international-level, said college Principal Dr C Yuvaraj said in the press meet on Friday.
Iwate Prefectural University, one of prestigious government universities in Japan offered internship to Kothamachu Ramesh Ashika and Gajjala Kavyasri under the supervision of Prof Goutam Chakraborty, Intelligent Informatics Lab, Faculty of Software and Information Science, Iwate Prefectural University, Japan.
Ashika’s internship will be in “Identification of Classifying features of leaf-stems using Convolution NN” and G Kavyasri’s internship will be on “Intelligent analysis of bio-signals.” he stated.
Yuvaraj said both students will do the research in the Intelligent Informatics Lab in the same university. The College Management Principal Dr C Yuvaraj, Dean (Administration) Dr Srimantha Basu, International Cell coordinator U Vijayalakshmi and others congratulated the students on their success.
