JK Trivedi award to city doctor

Rajamahendravaram: The ‘Indian Psychiatric Society’ honoured noted physician Dr Karri Rama Reddy with 'JK Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award' in its 71st annual conference held at Lucknow recently. 

The award was handed over by Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik to Dr Reddy.

According to the doctor, about 7,000 doctors having membership in the society and it was first time that the award was given to a doctor in two Telugu states. 

Expressing his happiness over receiving the award, Dr Reddy said that the award has increased his responsibility as a doctor. 

King George Medical University Vice-chancellor Prof MLB Bhat, the society Bangalore unit president Dr Akul Bedi, Phani Nageswara Rao and PVS Krishna Rao were present on the occasion.
