Serve the poor, lawyers told in Ongole

Ongole: Prakasam district first additional judge RJ Viswanatham said that service can be done to the poor and downtrodden people by lawyers joining hands with the District Legal Services Authority.

He participated as the chief guest at the valedictory function of the two-day training programme for lawyers at the DLSA office and said that lawyers should be aware of the changes happening in society along with the upgradation of knowledge about the latest technological advances. 

He advised them to participate in the training programs being organized by the DLSA regularly for refreshing their knowledge.

The resource persons R Srinivasa Rao and T Subba Rao explained about the Domestic Violence Aact and DLSA act to the lawyers attending from various places of the district. 

The principal senior civil judge, B Sobhakumari appreciated the lawyers who completed the training and distributed certificates to them.
