Naidu introduces 6 new schemes, enhances budget for 32 existing schemes in Vote on Account budget
Amaravati: The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has introduced six new welfare schemes in the Vote on Account budget, which was presented in the Assembly on Tuesday here by the Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.
Annadata Sukhibhava introduced with an outlay of Rs 5,000 crore, Land Acquisition for House sites an amount of Rs 500 crore, incentives for industrial promotion for MSMEs – Rs 400 crore, Drivers Sadhikara Samstha – 150 crore, Infrastructure facilities in ULBs under CIIP – Rs 100 crore and Welfare of Kshatriyas – Rs 50 crore.
Government also increased allocations for existing 32 schemes, like AP Market Intervention Fund for farmers increased from Rs 500 crore to Rs 1000 crore, farm mechanization budget enhanced from Rs 258 crore to Rs 300 crore, Pasupu Kunkama to SHGs increased to Rs 4000 crore from Rs 1700 crore, Assistance to unemployed youth from Rs 1000 crore to Rs 1200 crore NTR Barosa pensions from Rs 5012 crore to Rs 12,819 crore and many others.
