‘Resonance 2k19’ to be held on Feb 15, 16
Vijayawada: The Andhra Loyola Physics Association will organise ‘Resonance 2k19’, a national level academic competition, in association with Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), on February 15 and 16.
In this regard a poster was released by the Department of Physics of Andhra Loyola College on Monday.
Organising secretary Dr Ch Srinivas said that the two-day Physics Fest is intended to tap the inner potentials and ideas of the students of degree classes and to provide a platform for them to exhibit their latent talents through competitions in different events such as Role Play, Paper, Model and Poster presentation, Quiz, Concept Teaching and Essay Writing.
Dr Sahaya Baskaran said that the sensors are ruling the world and there is a physics principle in every sensor. Undergraduate students need to explore the emerging areas of technology and also find relevance to their study.
This will help them to create a passion for Physics, he said. Students are encouraged to participate in these interdisciplinary competitions.
