Vizianagaram: K Prakash, District Project Manager of Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) stated that the government is giving top priority to expand the ZBNF system to new areas and to bring more farmers into the fold. This is the best and easier way to bring out  farmers from debts and the products which grow under this method are good for health.

The DPM addressed the cluster activists (CAs), Cluster Resource Persons(CRPs) on Tuesday, the first day of two-day training and instructed them to reach new villages and motivate the farmers to come under this method. Proper awareness programmes, counselling also should be given to farmers to attract them. Women Self-Help Groups, farmer groups also should be brought under ZBNF module, he said.

The consumers are showing interest for organically produced fruits and vegetables. Spray Pancha Gavya and fermented butter milk to control the dropping of flower in horticulture crops like mango and cashew. Number of farmers and extent of land also should be escalated for next Kharif', he stated.
