Govt plies more buses for Polavaram visit

 Rajamahendravaram: TDP leader Adireddy Vasu has said that Polavaram Project was the lifeline of the state, which is coming to reality soon with the efforts of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Flagging off the APSRTC buses going to the site of Polavaram Project here on Tuesday, he said the people were going to the project site to see the works and also to know about its advantages. 

Many people were coming forward to visit the national project. Everyone in the state should know about the project for which the government is spending crores of rupees, which is the largest project in the country, he added. 

Water for cultivation will be supplied to lakhs of acres along with stabilisation of thousands of ayacut along with water supply to North Andhra districts, he explained.

So far about 8,000 people in 150 buses from the city visited Polavaram Project and expressing happiness over the construction of the project. 

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was very much particular to take the people to see the project, he said.

The people from 11th and 12th divisions went to Polavaram Project on Tuesday along with the corporators GS Narayana and K Viswanadh. Buses will be arranged for the people who want to go to Polavaram Project, he added.
