Opportunities a plenty in Switzerland

Bhimavaram: Indian engineering students have plenty of opportunities to further improve their engineering skills in Luciana University of Switzerland, said Dr Peter H. Wulschleger, head of international IT Management and Applied Sciences Department of Luciana University while addressing the first year students of SRKR Engineering College here on Tuesday. 

Dr Peter revealed that the SKRK Engineering College entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Luciana University and as part of it four students of the college last year joined the Swiss university.

“This year also interviews would be conducted for admissions from this college into the Swiss university,” he said.

Presiding over the meeting, college principal Dr G Parthasarathi Varma said that the students of SRKR Engineering College could continue their education at the Luciana University for three years from the second for the fee they paid in the college.

“Already 20 students from the college are studying in various foreign universities including Europe,” he said.

International Affairs Dean P Muralikrishnam Raju said that former students of the college were doing internship in Germany. International Affairs Asst Prof Prabhakar Varma and others were also present
