APSRTC to issue monthly student passes

Ongole: The APSRTC has announced that it would  renew the student bus passes on a monthly basis instead of the quarterly basis. 

In order to reduce the burden of student bus passes during summer vacation, the Corporation has decided to issue passes limited to one month only and will renew the next month, based on the letter from the principal.

The Prakasham Regional Manager G Vijaya Geetha announced in a statement that students must renew their passes every month for February- 2019, March- 2019 and April- 2019, as the APSRTC decided to hold the quarterly passes in the period. 

She said that the monthly passes will be issued to all categories of the eligible students and asked them to utilize the service.
