Stone laid for Sakthi Peetam at Gadala village
Rajamahendravaram: The foundation stone laying ceremony of the upcoming Maha Mrutyunjaya Shakthi Peetham was performed at Gadala village on the outskirts of the city on a massive scale on Thursday.
The Peetham founder, Devambotla Bala Balaji Sharma and his wife Naga Jyothi performed the celestial event in the pit dug for the auspicious programme.
The unique feature of the peetam is that Goddesses Lakshmi, Saraswathi and Parvathi along with Lord Mrutyanjaya will be installed on one aadhar peetam along with Sri Chakrams.
Under the aegis of noted siddanthi Ragidimilli Srinivasa Sharma, the programme was conducted amidst chanting vedic mantras.
Former mayor Adireddy Veera Raghavamma, Aryapuram Cooperative Urban Bank chairman Bommana Raj Kumar, Godavari Urban Development Authority chairman Ganni Krishna and many others participated.
