4-lakh beneficiaries to get a home today
Amaravati/ Nellore: Andhra Pradesh government is going to achieve another record by inaugurating 4-lakh houses simultaneously across the state on Saturday. In the past it had inaugurated 3 lakh houses on a single day. Around one lakh urban houses by APTIDCO and 3 lakh rural houses by AP State Housing Corporation would be handed over to the beneficiaries.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be participating in the house warming ceremony in Nellore. District administration constructed a pylon at Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy Colony at Venkateswara Puram area for formally inaugurating the activity by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
NTR Nutana Gruha Pravesa Mahotsavam is going to be held for a total of 3.02 lakh houses by AP State Housing Corporation such as 2,53,180 houses in rural areas and 49,067 houses in urban areas in the state with Rs 3,574 crore. AP Township and Infrastructure Development had constructed around 1 lakh houses in urban areas, according to officials.
The Chief Minister will reach Police Parade Grounds at Nellore at 10.20 am and inaugurate the new building of the District Police Office and reaches Venkateswara Puram at 11.05 am and address a public meeting.
