Rama Rao assumes charge as Srikakulam Collector

Srikakulam: M Rama Rao assumed charge as new collector of Srikakulam district here on Saturday. He received charge from in-charge collector KVN Chakradhara Babu at the Collectorate. 

Earlier on the day, the new collector offered prayers at Arasavalli Sun god temple. Priests of the Sun god temple blessed him with temple traditions. 

After assuming charge, the new collector said that he will work for all-round development of Srikakulam district. 

In the wake of coming elections, Rao said that he will look into smooth delivery of all welfare schemes and benefits to targeted sections. 

Later, the collector conducted a meeting with all distinct officials and over the implementation of welfare schemes and programmes.
