CPM holds rally protesting against Modi’s visit
Bhimavaram: A rally under the auspices of CPM was taken out from the party office to the bus stand centre here on Sunday, protesting against the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The agitators staged a protest demonstration at the bus stand. Addressing the gathering, district CPM secretary B Balaram said that Modi had no moral right to campaign in the state as he had denied Special Category Status to the state.
Though the Centre had nothing to spend on a new railway zone to Visakhapatnam, Modi did not act in favour of the state.
Going by this, one can assess Modi’s commitment for the development of the state. He cheated people of the state by ignoring many promises made on different occasions, he reminded.
The agitators raised slogans ‘Go back Modi’ on the occasion.
