Srikakulam man commits suicide for SCS in New Delhi
Amaravati: D Arjun Rao of Kintali in Srikakulam district of AP has reportedly committed suicide on Monday in New Delhi, according to the sources.
On a foot path at Jaswant Singh road near AP Bhavan in New Delhi, where the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been organizing Dharma Porata Deeksha against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and central government, he committed suicide. The police sources in the area found the dead body along with a suicide letter, sources added.
In his letter, which was written in Telugu script, claimed that he was committing suicide demanding the Special Category Status to AP.
As soon as Chandrababu Naidu came to knew the news, observed two minutes silence on the dias along with other leaders accompanied him.
Chandrababu Naidu explained that the victim was a physically challenged person who has been surviving on the pension being provided by the State government. Naidu further explained that the Arjun came to New Delhi by spending his pocket money, but not took the transport system provided by the state government even.
At this juncture, Naidu requested public not to commit suicide and all the demands will be achieved through peaceful protests.
