Govt tried to foil PM’s meeting, alleges BJP

Ongole: The Prakasam district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that the state government has tried to foil Prime Minister Modi’s meeting at Guntur on Sunday by misusing police and other official systems. 

The leaders alleged that a few supporters of the TDP resorted to physical attacks and demanded action on the involved persons and leaders behind them.

The Prakasam district BJP president PV Krishnareddy said that the public meeting of the Prime Minister was a great successful and he thanked each and everyone who joined them from the district. 

Reminding the people that Chandrababu Naidu had announced that he would put those people demanding Special Category Status in jail, the BJP  leader questioned him as to what action should be taken against the TDP leaders and the Chief Minister himself. 

He said that the developmental activities that were taking place in the villages and towns in the State was due to the funds and schemes released by the Central government from time to time. 

He said that the people were ready to teach a lesson to the TDP leaders in the coming elections for their involvement in corruption in every development work.

The AP Minority Morcha president Khalifatulla Basha said that about 25,000 Muslims attended the public meeting of Narendra Modi and it was the proof that the prime minister won the hearts of the minorities and they were considering him as their leader.

The Prakasam district BJP secretary Seggem Srinivas, BC, SC, women divisions leaders also participated in the meeting held at the district party office on Monday.
