TDP MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan quits party
TDP MLA Amanchi Krishnamohan from Chirala has resigned to the party and is likely to join YSRCP. He has sent his resignation letter to TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It is learned that Amanchi has met YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Lotus Pond.
Amanchi who met Naidu last week is said to be not pacified with the latter's promises. The MLA who has been saying that he has given the least importance in the party has announced his decision of changing party. It is also speculated that the Chirala MLA will resign to the membership of Andhra Pradesh assembly also before joining the YSRCP. The MLA went to Hyderabad this morning and tendered the resignation to TDP before reaching the YSRCP office.
On the other hand, the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu directed the MLC Karanam Balaram to organize a party meeting in Chirala with the available cadre and other MLC Pothula Suneetha to explain the situation to the party workers. He also asked him to assure them that the party will resolve all differences between the groups in the party. Meanwhile, Balaram will monitor the situation in Chirala to pacify the other leaders who might also leave the party along with Krishna Mohan, it is learned.
