Hindustan Shipyard Limited bags contract worth 260 cr

Visakhapatnam: The Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has inked a contract worth of Rs 260 crore with Ministry of Defence (Indian Navy) for construction of four 50-T BP tugs.
HSL Chairman and Managing Director Rear Admiral L V Sarat Babu stated that the yard had won the bid in a competitive tender in which several Public Sector Units and private sector shipyards participated. The contract signing ceremony was held at Ministry of Defence, New Delhi on Thursday. Senior officials of Ministry, Indian Navy and HSL were present.
