TDP leaders vow to end rowdyism in Chirala
Chirala: The TDP leaders who tried to pacify the workers in a meeting in Chirala on Thursday, just one day after the MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan resigned to the ruling party, said they were handcuffed by certain limitations until now and announced that they will end rowdyism in the constituency.
The TDP leaders including the minister Sidda Raghavarao, district president and MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, MLC Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy, Women wing president Pothula Suneetha, former minister Pothula Ramarao and others organised a meeting with the cadre in Chirala.
The party workers organised a rally in the town and celebrated the exit of Amanchi Krishna Mohan from the party by burning crackers. Pothula Suneetha said the public of Chirala is celebrating the moment as if they are receiving freedom. She said that the Chief Minister has given top priority to Krishna Mohan by even neglecting the concerns of the local cadre but the MLA spit venom while leaving the party.
She said the locals were ready to teach him a lesson in the coming elections. Later, the leaders spoke at the Padmasali Kalyanamandapam as Suneetha presided the meeting. TDP organising secretary Nukasani Balaji warned Krishna Mohan to mind his language against the TDP president. He challenged Krishna Mohan to win in the coming elections and show his strength.
He said the BCs and other downtrodden communities will support the candidate chosen by the party high command. Damacharla Janardhana Rao confessed to the party workers that they were not much help to them during the period that Krishna Mohan in the party. He announced that the government will not allow rowdyism in the future and promised to lift all cases that were out on the workers by the encouragement of MLA.
He said the party will field a candidate who will give a tit for tat to Krishna Mohan in the coming elections and sought the support of the cadre. Karanam Balaram announced that they were trying to resolve the primary issues first and support the people who were harassed by Krishna Mohan and deliver justice to them. He said the government would see that the police force could be used for political gain in the constituencies. He assured that the party will see no worker suffered by the local MLA.
He said that it is not correct on the part of Krishna Mohan to talk sweetly when he is loyal to the party and spew venom while leaving it. Sidda Raghavarao said that in some situations, they were not able to help the local cadre earlier. He said that the TDP will not lose anything along with Krishna Mohan. He said the cadre and all leaders will support the candidate selected by the party president.
