Amaravati: The Fatima Medical College students thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for providing financial assistance to them, who failed to join in the MBBS course due to technical reasons during 2015-16. They visited the Undavalli on Friday and met him.

The State government sanctioned a sum of Rs 13 crore for the victimised 42 students. Though they have been struggling for the last three years and urging the State government to solve their problem and allow them to take the course, the government expressed its inability as their case was much complicated.

As a relief to them from the financial perspective, the government’s initiative helped a lot, informed one of the students who met Chandrababu Naidu.

This Rs 13 crore is being released as fee reimbursement to the victim students. The students who join in the MBBS by achieving rank in NEET 2018 would get benefitted under this fee reimbursement scheme for first two years.
