Free medical camp conducted in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Hundreds of patients were examined at a free medical camp conducted by GK Spandana and GSL Medical College at Pushkar Ghat here on Thursday. The people from the divisions of 21, 22, 23, 33 and 34 participated in the camp.

Doctors of GSL Medical College conducted tests relating to heart, dental, ENT, ortho and eye. Cancer tests were conducted using latest cancer testing mobile van.

GK Spandana and Godavari Urban Development Authority chairman Ganni Krishna said that all the tests were conducted free of cost. 

The actual cost of the tests accounts for thousands of rupees in private hospitals. The free medical camps will be organised until all the divisions are covered in the city.

MP Maganti Murali Mohan has donated a latest mobile van with advanced medical equipment to diagnose cancer freely for which the patients have to pay thousands of rupees in private hospitals. 

Necessary medicines were also supplied freely to the patients through Compass Pharmacy on the advice of doctors. He appealed to the people to avail this opportunity.

TDP leaders K Naveen Kumar, R Parvathi, V Rambabu and others were present.
