Ambati, Left leaders arrested in Sattenapalli

Guntur: Police arrested YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu while he was protesting against alleged corruption of Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasad family members in Sattenapalli on Friday.

While he was protesting at Ambedkar statue in Sattenapalli along with Civil Rights Association and leaders of CPI, CPM, the police removed their tent. 

They were shifted to various police stations. Ambati Rambabu was shifted to Krosuru Police Station. 

Meanwhile, the YSRCP leaders in Sattenapalli protested against arrest of Ambati Ramababu and raised slogans against the government. They demanded that the police release Ambati Rambabu immediately. 

Later, the police released Ambati Rambabu. The police had already imposed Section-30. 

For violating the rules, they arrested Ambati Rambabu along with CPI and CPM leaders.
