Killing of CRPF jawans condemned

Tirupati: The killing of 37 CRPF jawans in a suicide attack in Pulwama, Kashmir triggered protests here on Friday. Leaders and activists of political parties took to the streets to condemn the brutal killing of CRPF personnel in the terrorist attack in Kashmir and demanded that the Union government should take tough action to teach a lesson to the terrorists.

BJP activists carrying the effigy of Pakistan took out a rally before setting the effigy along with Pakistan flag and portrait of Pak based terrorist Hafeez Syed on fire. Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) activists led by its district secretary S Jayachandra and students of Viswam School led by its correspondent Viswanatha Reddy taken out a candle light rally in the evening as mark of respect to the martyrs, who laid their lives for the sake of the country. 

Congress leader P Naveenkumar Reddy along with his followers lit candle light in Amarjawan statue in NGO Colony as mark of respect to the slain jawans. BJP party State spokesperson G Bhanuprakash Reddy and party State secretary S Srinivas, who led the party protest strongly demanded that the Centre should take stern action against the terrorist elements and their supporters including political parties, leaders and social organisations. The NSS wing of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) has organised a candle light rally to show their solidarity to deceased soldiers in Kashmir. 

Registrar Prof GSR Krishna Murthy, Academic Dean Prof Rani Sadasiva Murthy, senior faculty Prof Chakravarthy Raghavan, Prof Prahlad Joshi, and others took part in the rally and prayed that their souls rest in peace. The students of SV University also held a candle rally from SVU administrative building to Balaji Colony in the city and burnt the effigy of Pakistan Prime Minister. 

Leaders of Praja Nestham organisation N Raja Reddy and N Visvanatha Reddy have led another candle rally which started from Viswam School. They strongly condemned the killing of 42 soldiers in Kashmir by Pakistan extremists and demanded a logical and permanent solution to Kashmir issue.
