TDP will win 150 seats: Nara Lokesh
Vijayawada: Minister for Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh expressed confidence that his party will win 150 seats in the forthcoming elections. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu aims and strives for welfare and development of the State.
Inaugurating various development programmes at Ponnavaram village in Krishna district on Friday, the minister said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu made AP to stand at top position in the country though the State faced several challenges due to bifurcation.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been working hard like a youngster at the age of 68 for the development of the State, he said. Though there were no sufficient funds, the State government implemented various welfare schemes, Lokesh stated and requested the
people to extend cooperation to the hardworking Chief Minister for the state development.
The TDP would give tickets to only winning horses, he said and added that the leaders who were leaving from the party are in the list of ticket losers. On this occasion, he inaugurated Gandepalli Lift Irrigation Scheme, tank and greenery development works. He also distributed cheques to Dwcra women.
He said that the village is native of grandmothers of minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and MP Sujana Chowdary. MP Kesineni Srinivas, ZP chairperson Gadde Anuradha, MLA Tangirala Soumya and several leaders were present. Earlier, the villagers gave warm welcome to the minister.
