Visakhapatnam: The GVMC Sanitary wing renovated the walls with beautiful Mural paintings at the recently inaugurated Modern Closed Compaction Garbage Station at I Town.

The area which used to look ugly with garbage and sewage water, now looks clean and tidy. The walls were painted with pictures depicting rural agricultural world, scenic natural biodiversity with waterfalls, ponds with inhabitant birds all around and fairies painting the sky with vibrant colours.

The entire atmosphere of the place looks so pleasant with the walls painted with mural paintings. GVMC Commissioner Hari Narayan on Saturday visited the Closed Compaction Garbage Station and said that the place looks like a park or a picnic spot with the splendid mural paintings on the walls.

He appreciated the sanitary department for keeping the premises clean and advised them to maintain them this way to prevent contagious diseases which spread because of untidy and unhygienic environment.
