Sindhu asks children to work hard to achieve goals

Visakhapatnam: The 37th Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) Formation Day celebrations got off to a glittering start with the participation of International Star Shuttler and Brand Ambassador of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant P V Sindhu here on Monday.

On the occasion, RINL CMD P K Rath, P V Sindhu and RINL Directors planted saplings at Ukku Stadium. Later, Rath and Sindhu flagged off the Solidarity Run organised by the Sports Department. Children of Ukkunagaram schools, large number of employees, representatives of Steel Executives Association, unions, Visteel Mahila Samiti, WIPS, took part in the run.

Speaking on the occasion, Rath stated that RINL-VSP has always been attaching importance for developing sports infrastructure in Ukkunagaram and encouraging the budding children and employees to prosper in their respective fields. He commended Sindhu for bringing name and fame to the country, particularly to RINL as a Brand Ambassador of Vizag Steel.

Sindhu while appreciating the RINL-VSP for creating good sports infrastructure and promoting sports persons in Ukkunagaram, said that she was very proud being associated with Vizag Steel as a Brand Ambassador and continue to propagate Vizag Steel at national and global events.  The Vizag Steel is known for quality products and the employees are also highly dedicated and committed, she observed.

Later, Sindhu played an exhibition match with children of the schools and interacted with them at Multi-Purpose Hall in Ukkunagaram. While interacting with children, Sindhu exhorted them to improve the talent, work hard and advised them to have  continuous practice of the games they aspire to grow in future.
