Start-ups play vital role in job creation: Winny Patro

Vijayawada:  AP State Innovation Society CEO R S Winny Patro said that that the start-ups play a vital role in providing employment opportunities to unemployed youth. Speaking at the annual session of the CII–Yi Amaravati Chapter with the theme ‘Engaging Youth towards building a Sustainable Amaravati’ here on Monday, Winny Patro highlighted the need to strengthen the ecosystem to promote investments and growth. Employability is the main driver in accelerating growth and development, he added. 

Dr Ravi Kumar P Vemuri, advisor to the Government on NRT Affairs & Investments, said that there was a huge talent available in the city of Amaravati. He felt that there was a need to create conducive environment to attract non-resident Andhras to work in Amaravati. He also said that the government has taken many efforts to attract investments into Amaravati.

Saathvik Chukkapalli, Director of Popular Shoe Mart was appointed chairman of Yi Amaravati Chapter for year 2019-20. Teja Bodepudi Director (Retail) of Profit Shoe Company is appointed co-chair for Amaravati Chapter. 

RVS Rudraraju, chairman of CII (AP) and Director of the RHI Clasil said that in a competitive federalism every state is attracting investment by organising investment promotional programmes. 

He felt that there has been increasing aspirations among youth after completion of their education and they look for better opportunities in big cities.
B S Koteswara Rao, past chairman of CII Vijayawada, V Krishna, past chairman of CII Vijayawada Zone and vice-president shared their perspectives at the session. Vinay Dutt Chalasani, Chair-Yuva of Yi Amaravati and Managing Director of VM Bakery Products moderated the session.
