Narendra Modi will go to any extent for political mileage: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to any extent for gaining political mileage. Naidu was interacting with the party leaders over the party’s election strategy on Tuesday. 

Citing the criticism of West Bengal Chief Minister  Mamata Banerjee on the timing of the attack by the terrorists, Chandrababu Naidu said that there was a debate going on in the country on her statements. She also asked the Central government whether they wanted to go for war during the elections and accused BJP and RSS that they were fomenting communal violence in the country.

The Chief Minister said that the TDP will not compromise on the security and unity of the country and at the same time will not allow Modi to mortgage the nation for his political benefits.

He said that Modi will go to any extent for his benefits.  Chandrababu Naidu said that the country will never forget the Godhra train burning incident, which claimed the lives of more than 2000 innocent people at the time. 

Foreign countries also banned entry of Modi, till he became Prime Minister of India, he added. TDP leader observed that the security at the border areas will be very crucial and important. He suggested Modi not to seek political benefits with the states having international borders.

Jagan plotting with KCR: Chandrababu Naidu said that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy got frustrated with the welfare schemes introduced by the State government. “Jagan is sitting in Hyderabad and plotting with TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao. KCR encourages the TDP leaders to join YSRCP, and guarantees for the responsibility of their assets in Telangana,” Naidu blamed.

Guiding the cadre he said, ``We have deposited Rs.1,000 in farmers' bank accounts, they need notbother to take money. The farmers have welcomed 'AnnadataSukhibava' scheme. We can see happiness among the farmers across the state, the popularity of 'AnnadataSukhibava' is going beyond 'Pasupu-kunkama.’’

TDP government provided Rs 24,000 crore for loan waiver scheme, a sum of Rs. 15,000 as input assistance and 9 hrs power supply to farmers were given. There are many innovative schemes for farmers in our state,’’ he said.  

Speaking on welfare schemes, Chandrababu said, ``Rs 20,000 per woman for 95 lakh women, an amount of Rs.15,000 input assistance for 74 lakh farmers were given and we have hiked pensions 10 times to 60 lakh people.
