ONGC staff pays homage to martyrs

Rajamahendravaram: ONGC Rajahmundry Asset Employees, SPF personnel, KV school children led by N C Pandey, Director (Technical & Field Services) D M R Sekhar, ED-Asset Manager and Durga Bhavani, president, ONGC Officers’ Mahila Samiti, paid candle light homage to martyrs of Pulwama at Pushkar Ghat on Monday.

They paid respects to martyrs at a pylon specially made for the purpose. Earlier, they observed two-minutes silence as mark of respect. Around 400 participants placed candles in honour of martyrs. Speaking on the occasion, Sekhar said the contribution of soldiers is invaluable and unforgettable. Their sacrifices are making commoners lives safe and secure, he added.
