Congress Bharosa Yatra gets good response on second day

Gooty(Anantapur): The Congress Blitzkreig in the form of 'PrajaBharosa Bus Yatra' to defeat BJP at the national level and TDP in the state and to retrieve lost ground appears to be succeeding at least on the surface level going by the tremendous response it received on the first day and second day of the yatra in the district.  

The Yatra which passed through Madakasira, Hindupur, Penukonda and Anantapur on Tuesday halted for the night and resumed its yatra on Wednesday. The Yatra touched Pamidi and Gooty towns in the district before leaving to Kurnool district. In all the towns the Yatra Bus traversed, people gathered in large numbers and heard the Congress leaders with attention. The leaders projected Rahul Gandhi as the sole champion of SCS. 

Addressing a media conference before leaving to Kurnool, PCC president N Raghuveera Reddy aid that had the Congress won in 2014, it would have conceded SCS to the state. The Congress had been fighting for SCS since the BJP came to power at the Centre.

``The TDP said that SCS is not a panacea to AP while BJP said it is a closed chapter. Rahul Gandhi is now the sole savior of AP state. Regional parties including TDP and YCP cannot bring SCS and only national parties like the Congress can do it,’’Raghuveera said.
