TDP to finalise poll manifesto by March 15

Amaravati: Aiming at Rs 3.78 lakh per capita income in the state and focusing on welfare of poor and women, creation of employment for youth, the TDP is going to bring its election Manifesto with people’s participation. It has introduced a dedicated website http://www.tdpmanifesto.com, to take feedback from all sections of the public, which will be included in the TDP Manifesto - 2019, for the first time.

Aiming to penetrate deeply into the hearts of common man, party president N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the Manifesto committee headed by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu to take the suggestions from the public apart from the party leaders and cadre across the state. Hence, the Manifesto Committee, which met on Wednesday at Secretariat has announced that they will finalise it by March 15. 

Minister K Atchannaidu informed that they will interact with all the leaders and cadre in 13 districts and will consider the suggestions of public too. He said that anybody can send suggestions to the party through the website. 

Atchannaidu said that they are directed to focus on efficiently implementing the existing welfare schemes introduced by the TDP based on the 2014 Manifesto, as well as to give priority to women, poor, youth in the state.  

He said that will give 10 assurances at village level via Samaja Vikasam and 15 securities at family level through Kutumba Vikasam. Manifesto will carry the concept of 5 Grids, 5 Campaigns and 7 Missions, which has been implementing to guide the government for the last five years. 

He said that they will increase the GSDP to more than Rs 24 lakh crore per annum, thereby they will achieve the target of Rs 3.78 lakh per capita income. The Committee is going to meet again on February 25 at Secretariat, for which they will invite all the districts party presidents.
