Amaravati: The war of words is getting intense by the day as all parties have launched their campaign for the general elections. While the opposition YSRCP has resorted to tweeting certain comments against the chief minister which are not in good taste, the TDP has levelled serious allegation against YSRCP.

Minister for Finance Y Ramakrishnudu on Thursday said that YS Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to mortgage Andhra Pradesh to TRS party with the help of Narendra Modi. Their strategy is destabilise TDP since they cannot defeat it in elections.

Addressing media persons near Praja Vedika, the Finance Minister said the TRS government was resorting to threaten or harass people having properties in Hyderabad and the central government was resorting to IT raids on TDP leaders and all those who support the party.

Two TDP leaders getting notices from TRS government saying that about 20 acres of land they own has been acquired by the government for public purpose (construction of sub stations) and setting up transformers in their land was one such example.

In another case, a board has come up overnight in an agriculture land belonging to an MLA saying that it was registered with fake documents. Another MP got a notice from ED asking details about a cheque issued to the former Union minister P Chidamabram.

ED wanted to know if the cheque had any links with Aircel Maxis case. All these indicate that the Centre with the help of TRS and YSRCP was indulging in mudslinging against the TDP government and many more such tricks could be played by them in the days to come and hence people should be alert and defeat all such forces, Ramakrishnudu said.

He also alleged that the TRS government was not cooperating in division of assets as 9th and 10th schedule of the AP State Reorganisation Act 2014.
