TDP leader Nagul Meera meets CM Chandrababu Naidu
Amaravati: AP police housing corporation chairman and TDP leader Nagul Meera meets with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Amaravati on Saturday.
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has accompanied Meera to the meeting with Naidu. For past some time it in the news that Nagul Meera will be quitting TDP, in this meantime their meeting has got political attention in Vijayawada.
It seems that Meera is upset with the TDP supremo that without consulting him Naidu has given the Vijayawada West Assembly seat to seating MLA Jaleel Khan's daughter.
When he was expecting the West Assembly seat in the coming elections. Recently MLA Jaleel Khan and his daughter Shabana Khatur had meet CM Chandrababu, after which Khan has announced that CM has declared West Assembly ticket to his daughter.
On this issue, Meera has even slammed Jaleel Khan for making self-declaration regarding the party ticket and has also complained to Naidu.
Nagul Meera said that as part of the alliance in 2014 he has sacrificed the West seat to BJP. He expressed his anguish that the party is neglecting him by giving the ticket to the leaders, who have come from the YSR Congress party.
At this peak time, Nagul Meera and Chandrababu's meeting has become a reason for the political discussion in the state.
