Markapuram: A man from Gadwal in Telangana was found murdered in Markapuram on Sunday. According to the Markpauram CI E Sridhar Reddy and investigating team from Gadwal, Indla Venkata Reddy is a native of Gundamcharla village in Peddaraveedu mandal. His daughter Swathi married Ramana Reddy, working as a supervisor in a private company in Hyderabad, six years ago.

Subsequently, the couple shifted to Hyderabad and they were blessed with two children. Meanwhile, Swathi became friends with Telugu Srinivasulu, a native of Gadwal, in a train while she was visiting her parents.

They developed an affair and used to meet in Hyderabad occasionally. Last Sunday, Swathi and her paramour Srinivasulu visited Swathi’s parents, who shifted to Markapur recently. After Srinivasulu took leave from them, Swathi’s father Venkata Reddy and her brother Chakrapani Reddy allegedly killed him and tried to dispose of the body by burning at Katamraju Tanda, near their native place Gundamcharla.

The body was not burnt completely and they shifted it to Yachavaram hills and burnt again by pouring more petrol. Meanwhile, Srinivasulu’s wife and relatives registered a missing case in Gadwal and the police came to Markpauram after receiving the call data.

After an inquiry with the support from the local police, the Gadwal police found that the father and brother of Swathi killed the accused and they confessed to the crime and showed them the burnt body on Sunday evening. The police are likely to shift the accused to Gadwal on Monday for further inquiry.
