Women are with TDP, claims MLC Adireddy Appa Rao

Rajamahendravaram: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLC Adireddy Appa Rao has said that women are supporting the party from its inception in 1983 and they are continuing it till date, which shows their confidence in the party.

Participating in a meeting of Dwcra women held here on Monday, he said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is very much particular to achieve women empowerment in the state and as part of it, he is implementing many schemes.

Recently Naidu sanctioned an amount of Rs 10,000 to each member of Dwcra groups under Pasupu Kumkuma scheme. The amount need not be paid back to the government. 

TDP government can only strengthen the economic base of women in the state and now it is the time for women to extend support to Naidu in the ensuing assembly elections. 

As an elder son of every family, he is striving for the welfare of women in the state and it is the duty of the women to elect him as Chief Minister again, he added.

TDP leaders A Vasu, V Rambabu, RC Raju, NC Babu, K Chandipriya, BR Kumar, RV Rao and many others were present.
