8-day Maha Shivaratri Utsavam from March 2 in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: All arrangements have been completed for the celebrations of the eight-day Maha Shiva Ratri Utsavam at Sri Durgamalleswara Swamivarla Devastanam scheduled to commence from March 2, according to Durga Temple EO V Koteswaramma in a release on Tuesday.

She said that the celebrations will commence with Ganapati puja at 4:30 am. The much-awaited ‘Sri Malleswara Swamy Kalyanam’ will be held with ‘Maha Rudrabhishekam’ in the midnight. 

Events such as Divyaleela Kalyanotsavam, Rathotsavam, Pushpayaaga Sayanotsavam will form part of the celebrations, she added.
