ACB sleuths nab assistant town planning officer for taking bribe

 The ACB officials caught an Assistant City Planner red-handed while accepting bribe amount Rs.20000 at his office on Wednesday. 

ACB DSP, C Jayarama Raju said, the ACP, Shabnam Sasthry has demanded Rs.20000 for approval and fixation of tax to house sites belonging to one Pavan K Modi, a resident of Bellary Cross roads. 

Basing on the complaint by K Modi we laid a trap and caught the ACP red handed and seized the amount besides taking him to custody. Case has been filed and he would be produced in ACB court for initiating further action, Jayarama Raju said
