GRP, RPF check trains originate from Kolkata, North-Eastern States

Visakhapatnam: With high alerts from Research And Analysis (RAW) and Intelligence Bureau (IB), the GRP and RPF personnel are checking all the trains originating from Kolkata and North-Eastern States to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to identify the illegal immigration from Bangladesh into India. 

With the several incidents that the Bangladesh immigrants gained illegal entry at various places through trains, the police and Railway Protection Forces arrested them as they do not have valid documents. 

The AP police inquiring about the recently shifted families at various residential colonies particularly middle-class people living areas. The police are suggesting the house owners to be very careful while giving the houses on rent. The police also suggesting the owners to check the identity of people before renting their houses.  

“The IB is always issue alert notices on various occasions. But, with the present high tension between India and Pakistan, we have issued high alert and asked the security agencies to be very careful. With the confident information that terrorist will attack with suicide bombers, the Indian Coast Guard and Directorate of Naval Intelligence asked to to watch and check all the vulnerable areas including rail and water ways.

The Indian Coast Guard is also intensified its patrolling and watching the fishing boats also," the sources said. According to the highly placed sources, the Naval authorities taken into custody of an unidentified person, who is roaming at the prohibited area without any identify proof. “An unknown person was taken into custody last night and interrogation is going on,” the sources said.
