Gold Gym opens tomorrow

Rajamahendravaram: A Gold Gym with international standards and five star facilities is coming up at Jawaharlal Nehru road in the historical city from March 3. The gym came into existence in the year 1965 in USA and extended its services to six continents across the globe.

Speaking to the media at the gym here on Friday, its franchise manager RV Chandramouli and health club manager Tabraiz said the club is having 120 branches in India and three branches in Andhra Pradesh including Vijayawada and Tirupati. Many Hollywood and Tollywood stars, celebrities, noted personalities are the customers of Gold Gym.

In Rajamahendravaram centre, so far 190 members registered their names and the annual fee was fixed as Rs 16,000 where as it is Rs 35,000 in Mumbai, Kolkata and other cities, they added. All the equipment imported from USA and an amount of Rs 4 crore was invested on the gym.

Steam bath, latest treadmill etc are the speciality and basing on the customer’s body condition and health necessity, training will be imparted to them along with necessary diet, they said.

As the health consciousness is increasing among the people there is a good demand for gyms across the globe, they added.

MP Maganti Murali Mohan, MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary, Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai and many elite of the city will participate in the inaugural function of the gym, they announced.
