Involve in Dharmic activities, Srivari Sevaks told

Tirumala: Apart from rendering services to countless number of visiting pilgrims at Tirumala, the Srivari Sevakulu should also involve in Dharmic activities of TTD in their respective areas, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal. Addressing Srivari Sevakulu at the recently opened Seva Sadan on Friday, the EO pointed out that Srivari Sevakulu were rendering incredible services to pilgrims.

He lauded their services during the recent Radhasapthami festival which won the accolades of pilgrims. The Seva Sadan has two new buildings which were built at a cost of Rs 96 crore with lockers, beds, dining facility, satsang and recreation hall facilities to accommodate men and women volunteers separately. "I wish that you will now offer enhanced services to pilgrims with more comfort and enthusiasm,” he added.

The Executive Officer called upon the Sevakulu to take part in dharmic activities organised by TTD in their respective home towns.  “We have recently opened online applications for HDPP. You also can enrol in this,” he added.  

He later said, the Sevakulu should also give feedback on their observations in their areas of service to improve quality of services to pilgrims, he maintained. Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, CE Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE Electrical Venkateswaralu and others were also present. 

Opening of Lord Venkateswara temple in Hyderabad on March 13:  The temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Hyderabad is all set for opening on March 13, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal. Speaking to the media after Dial your EO programme in Tirumala on Friday, the EO said, the Ankurarpanam for the temple will be on March 8 and Vigraha Pratishta on March 13. 

The EO also said Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Vontimitta is gearing up for annual Brahmotsavams from April 13 to 21 while Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will take place on April 18.
