Water plant inaugurated at Sivalayam in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: With the summer fast approaching, a priest K Surya Prakash and his businessman friend K Lakshmi Narayana took the initiative to provide drinking water at the famous Old Sivalayam Temple One-Town. They installed water purifying plant which was inaugurated on Friday.

The water plant was installed in memory of patents of K Surya Prakash (K Suryamarayana Shastry and K Sita Mahalakshmi) and K Lakshmi Narayana (K Venkatewara Rao and K Srirama Ratnam).

Surya Prakash said that about Rs 4 lakh was spent to install the water purifying plant, which would pump pure drinking water of 500 litres per hour.
