CWC celebrates 63rd Foundation Day in Renigunta

Tirupati: Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a Miniratna PSU catering to the needs of farmers, traders, merchants, celebrated its 63rd Foundation Day at its premises in Renigunta, near here on Saturday. 

Speaking on the occasion, CWC manager Muralidhar said that the farmers can pledge the warehouse receipt in any bank for availing loans for their agriculture activities. 

In addition to storage of food grains in FCI (Food Corporation of India), CSC and others, a scientific storage is being provided by CWC for importers and exporters to send or receive goods through CWC operated Container Fright Station (CFS), he explained. 

All warehouses of CWC in India take up pest and rodent control services at door steps of customers, he stated, adding that the CWC helps traders and merchants in many ways. CWC staff and retired officials including NC Sekhar and others participated.
