1 held, cell phones worth 5 lakh recovered in Bhimavaram
Bhimavaram: The Bhimavaram police have arrested one habitual offender and recovered 40 stolen cell phones worth Rs 5 lakh from his possession.
On the information provided by Bhimavaram Two-Town Circle Inspector SSV Nagaraju, a team of police headed by Sub-Inspector G Kalicharan rounded off B Hanok alias Dhanush (20) at Garagaparru railway gate on Saturday.
They recovered the stolen property pertaining to cases registered under the jurisdiction of Bhimavaram One-Town, Two-Town and Palakoderu police stations.
According to the police, earlier, cases were booked against the accused in Kakinada and Eluru.
DSP K Nageswara Rao complimented the SI, constables Lenin Prasad and Manikanta for their efforts in arresting the accused.
